I'm being threatened with legal action

I have tried numourous occasion to cancel my two gym contract under my name one belonged to my girlfriend and one is mine we filled out cancellation forms we went to the branch in rivonia to personally cancel the contract because sandton was no option for me to travel and I relocatedfurther more we were told that we have to sell the gym contracts to family member we then asked if the contract can be moved to vitality they said no so now I'm getting emails from siya recoveries acting on behalf of planet fitness wereas consumers can opt out of a contract I dnt understand why I am forced to pay for services I am nt using I did the honourable deed to confront the manager as well as the cancellations teams rivonia branch is telling me we have to pay another branch tells me I can just cancel without paying any fees, I have read the contract and nowhere does it state the a cancellation fee needs to be paid. I want this gym contract cancelled and I wil never use the services of planet fitness again. If need b I will approach the consumer counsel to resolve this matter on my behalf if this is not dealt between myself and planet fitness.
