I've been trying to cancel my membership at Planet Fitness since September. Going back and forth between this and that person trying to find out what my settlement fee will be.

Finally got in contact with a lady at Head office who eventually after several emails requesting the amount forwarded the amount with the banking details to me.

So i paid the settlement amount and forwarded the proof of payment to the above mentioned lady... waited 3 days no response. Meanwhile i received an SMS from my now former club that double membership fees will be deducted from my account for club levy's.

Phoned Head Office again, got hold of the lady i spoke to previously, she says to me that she emailed a response on the receipt of the proof op payment, i told her to look again... THERE WAS NO RESPONSE.

She then continued to look into my account and saw that the cancellation was't logged and that the proof of payment was't attached to my account. She said telephonic that the cancellation will be with immediate effect... now this was something her manager had to approve, and she would get back to me at the latest the next day...

next day - TRIED phoning them NO ONE answers!!!
