Hi I had signed a Gym contract on the 03/10/2013 evening with Sport and fitness club. The sales guy was Pule who had assisted me. I then by murphy law had a meeting with my boss on 04/10/2013 and he had given me news of there will bee no increase or bonuses this year. I had therefor called Sport and fitness club and pule assisted me shortly after hearing that I had wanted to cancel my contract he had abruptly transferred me to a lady called Nicci, where I then had to repeat my situation to her. She then responded with a response of me paying a amount of 500 cancellation fee. I do not understand why I have to pay an amount that I have not even used their facility and im being summoned to pay 500. Please also educate me further as according to the CPA- Consumer Protection Act I do not have to pa? I have sent my Complain two weeks ago at the National Consumer Commission still no joy.
