How can I make it suit you

I signed a contract with Sport and Fitness Club in August 2012 and i was given a month or 2 for free and was informed that money will be debited in November. I had a car and was able to visit home frequently during that time. In October my car broke and I had a challenge to continue with my usual errands. I moved to Carletonville next to my workplace for convenience sake.

Early this year I called Maponya Mall Sport and Fitness and supplied my details and requested to terminate my contract due my unfavorable situation and i was told to pay half the amount for the period of the contract or introduce somebody to take my place. I have been trying to get someone on those basis and failing. The challenge is, since i have signed that contract, i have never set my foot in that gym before.

I can't take it any more since money is been debited in my account even if there is nothing, which makes me to pay more interest. My frustration is that I get calls from the gym and i am told to pay money i owe or extra money will be charged in my account. I am not sure what to do.

Can i be assisted with regard to this matter please.
