Mutton is not Lam

On Friday 22 March I went to the Food Lover's Market in the Gateway Centre in Centurion (Rooihuiskraal) to buy some of the lamb that was advertised at R48/kg. When I got there it was not lamb but B grade sheep. However the butcher behind the counter insisted that it was lamb. I then went to complain at one of the managers, who reluctantly admitted that they may be wrong. His excuse - they get the orders and codes from head office and only head office can change it. Om Sunday 24 March I went back to see what has been done. The label on the pack then indicated "MUTTON PACK HALF/FULL LAMB". This was also confusing. Today 27 April, lamb was advertised at R48.99/kg. However when I got there, there was only B grade mutton packs at R48.99/kg and it was indicated as mutton. It is misleading to advertise lamb and then sell mutton. I again complained and was told there is lamb. After a long search 2 lamb packs were found right at the bottom of more than 25 mutton packs.By only having 2 lamb packs hidden below the mutton packs, is a clear attempt to mislead uninformed customers. I will never buy meat from you again and keep complaining to protect uninformed consumers.
