LAMB???

On Thursday, 28/03, I read in the local paper that F&V City Rbg had "lamb" packs on special for R45.99/kg. I purchased 2 packs. I cooked some on Sunday and to my surprise found the aroma from the meet somewhat different. The taste was very different and found that some of the meat was cooked while there where other pieces that required further cooking. I believe that these packs have been mixed with Mutton and therefore the price being so much lower. I have read other complaints of F&V City mixing packs however there were no difinitive responses to those complaints. The meat is packed by F&V City and bnonlame can't be shifted to anyone else. The recent attention to meat products and not clearly indicating product containts has come under scrutiny but it seems like these companies don't care on repercusions as there probably aren't any. I would like to know how and why such a large organisation like f&v city would allow their brand to be brought to shame for mere profits that I'm sure they make anyway. This is not acceptable and should not be condoned. What next, Horse or Donkey or Dog meat?
