On 19 April I ordered a pair of boots from the online Zando shop in anticipation of my birthday on the 24th& a holiday trip. I chose the option for delivery to be made within 2 days. Subsequent to making a physical cash deposit on the 20th of April, I kept receiving messages that my order was being held due to non-payment. After After 72 hours of non-delivery and no explanations, I decided to withdraw the order.

1. There was no mention that 24hrs would not apply to orders made on weekends;
2. The customer service link on web page doesn't work;
3. I kept receiving a flood of non-payment reminders even after I had sent proof of payment with the correct reference; Some of the messages I got were very 'cheeky' and uncaring, e.g.
"We hate to be pushy, but we still haven't received confirmation of your EFT payment for your order"
"Keep in mind that if we haven't received your payment within 2 days we'll be forced to cancel your order, something which we really don't want to do."
4. No one called in order to check or to explain why the money I had deposited did not reflect on their account;
5. No apology/explanation was offered when I made a cancellation. NEVER AGAIN!
