Harassment: Truworths Sandton

Went to the store yesterday around 5pm, then to the teller to pay. Then she billed the items, but she kept looking at me. After signing, she asked, and very rudely so in a demeaning tone, and i quote, "mom, can you please sign the way you signed the first time? ". Is there a problem? I asked. She responded by saying that my signature differs from the one on the card. And then she just looks at me, so I asked her if she perhaps wanted my ID or drivers? She did not even seem sure of what she wanted. She looks at my drivers and tells me that my signature differs. Not my photo or my ID number. And i can assure u my signature has not changed. The manager comes thru, does not even attempt to verfy the teller's suspicions and tells me that it was just for my own protection. No apologies, nothing. The hassment and humiliation and acusing of wanting to commit a crime in front of people was for my own protection! How dare u? If i will be treated like a criminal, for a service, then I suggest u don't offer it. Or the least, train your staff members to treat people with dignity. I am looking into wether i should bring harassment charges against your employees.
