Expects my 2year old son to wait outside store

When entering the San Marina store on Thursday I was told my son and his pushchair should stay outside the store as the cluttered layout does not permit him to enter. To this I raised my concern.

Amos, whom I understand to be the branch manager had an extremely bad attitude regarding this and even said that if I am uncomfortable with his attitude or store arrangement I should take my shopping elsewhere.

When I confronted him regarding this and demanding an apology he brushed me off. Explicitly stating that he will not apologize.

San Marina shoes are not cheap, and when paying over R1000 for a pair of shoes I would expect the manager to have a better attitude and place his customer first. I would also expect my family to be welcome and join in my shopping experience.

The layout of the Eastgate store is most probably on the wrong side of the law regarding clear pathways and emergency exits. I wonder what the department of health and safety or the fire officer in Bedfordview would rate the store at? It is so bad that customers are expected to leave children unattended and reprimanded if they try to bring a pram with an infant into the store. This is UNACCEPTABLE!
