No account for divorced woman

I have been trying since Friday to open an account with Mr price but every time it gets rejected. First they rejected because being a house wife is not an occupation then I re applied and put on the company that I help out occasionally. Then they rejected me again because my bank statement does not show my alimony yet. My divorce was only finalized in January and I got my first two alimony payments cash. My divorce settlement was paid in on the 5th of March and my bank account has more than enough money in it to prove I can afford an account but still they want to have bank statements showing that my alimony is being paid. My alimony payments are going to be paid into my account from this month 22 March 2013. I have to build up a good credit score but how can I do that if Mr price are not willing to help me with an account. Even Vodacom approved my cellphone contract with bank statements. Please help me as I want to be able to purchase a flat in the nearby future and I can not do that without a good credit score. I feel like they are discriminating against divorced women, but they accept people who pay leas then R 2000 a month whereas I get between R3500 and R5000.
