Payments not allocated to customer's statements

I went to the PE greenacres branch to arrange for a debit order in January 2013. Called the office where I spoke to a consultant and gave my bank account details to be debited and Edgars account number to allocate the payments to. Edcon has been debiting my bank account every month since January 2013, but they don't allocate the payments to my account. I have been to the local branch in Port Elizabeth every month where they would fax proof of payment to the relevant department to sort this out. I have written 4 letters to Edcon with my query and nothing gets done. I have faxed and emailed my bank statements with the debit order payments reflecting and they always promise to allocate the payments and never do. I have now paid R1200 that is not reflecting on my Edgars statement and have been over charged on the incorrect balances every month. This has messed up my credit record, and they just don't care. Please help.
