Pick 'n Pay
May be the Manger but does not care

Shops, Products, Services

Only because of convenience do I use Pick n Pay family Store on Hendrik Verwoerd Drive, Panorama, Cape Town. At the best of times it is not the cleanest or well stocked. However I needed to get Oros Lemon/Lime Squash. As I was taking off the shelf I noticed that the price had gone up R10.00 in one week. I went off to find "Manager" and took him to the particular area. On asking about a R10 increase in one week, his reply was that prices set by Head Office. He could not help and appeared to not care at all. I did advise him that it appeared that he no longer needed me as a customer and left the store. I then went home and onto the Pick n Pay Customer Care web site. I sent the same information through and as yet no answer has come from them either. Anybody out there able to justify R10 increase in one week if this is so.By chance on the online shopping web site the price was still at R21.95 last night so not sure where the "Manager" got his information from. So, decision made to complain via this web site to show the general public just how uncaring this retailer actually is. Do not make excuses about family store is franchised. It is PnP's name that is being tarnished.
