Idiculous price increases to put you off

I was absolutely mortified when I went to Pick n Pay one day and I saw that most of their items in store were increased in price to almost twice the original prices! I used to pick this particular store over others coz of the affordable pricing on their items. But when I went in last night to buy a box of Caprisone juices which are usually about R29, which are normally cheaper than competing stores, I noticed that they had gone up to R44!!! From R29!!??? And that's not the only increase I have noticed!

So my question is, what's the point of paying the prices we do at a supermarket that's supposed to be known for low prices if we're paying the same prices as shops such as Woolworths??? We might as well just go straight to Woolies and actually pay for the quality!

I'm so upset right now. :o
