Yesterday 8th August at 12:45 part of my purchases were two boxes of biscuits. The price said R9.99 each. Not understanding why all the boxes had been turned around to face the back of the shelf, I turned two boxes around. All appeared in order, so I took two. At the cashier (Nthabiseng Masenya), the price increased to R15.99 each. I waited while the supervisor was called, who in turn called the packer. The packer explained that the goods were intended for the shelf above but because the shelf was full, she packed the goods on the shelf below. The packer turned all the boxes around in the hope that customers would not notice them. This is called "service" at Pick & Pay? I was hurriedly handed two other packets of biscuits that cost R9.99 each (not my choice of biscuits). I paid for the goods and left the store. How does the manager control this store? Does the manager know what is going on in the store? Is the manager training the staff? Is there a store manager?
