I Bought a living room set from Russels Tzaneen about three years ago. It was delivered with a tear in one of the sets. I reported this to the manager. He assured me that they will order a new one. After about one month
the springs on the couch broke and I reported that as well. The manager said that he will look into it. After a few months of phoning and complaining the I found out that the manager has left the company. I spoke to a new manager and explained everything and he said he will get back to me. Again after numerous phone calls I found that yet again they had a new manager. The time elapsed was now on three years. i spoke to her and she was reluctant to assist in the beginning but she came to pick up the couch and fixed it on russels account except they could not fix the tear. After one month I phoned back because the spring broke yet again. They said well i am out of my twelve month warranty so they cannot assist. I phoned their complaints department and after two months of phoning they said it is up to the branch as i am out of my twelfe month warrenty although i complained since the first day of delivery.
