5 year guarantees are actually 1 year guarantees!

Did you know that amongst the 5 Bold Features printed on the Box of the Lexmark Printers as 5 year guarantee is actually a 1
year guarantee... unless that entire stack of paper work is read
, wherein somewhere it's written that unless the product is registered
with Lexmark international online, then the warranty for 5 years is
not honoured!! even though I have the original purchase invoice from
Makro.
Despite my numerous attempts at getting matter attended to with
Makro's customer services manager, he's bottom line after enquiries
, was that Lexmark South Africa do not exist any longer, & they are now
in the Philipines only, & therefore Makro's buyer for these sorts of
products could do nothing about the problem.
