Poor service bad excuses

Poor excuses!!! I purchased an Lexmark pro 705 4in one printer which was advertised with a 5 year warranty and after 1 year 3 months the duplexer unit broke! The item was sent for repair because it carried a 5 year warranty Incredible connection were unable to get the unit repaired due to the fact that the unit was not registered with Lexmark! Neither lexmark or incredible connection were able to resolve this issue, due to the fact that the extended warrantee was not activated! Excuse me why put product in a box on a shelf and say it carries a 5 year warranty!! Then you don't honour the warrantee when challenged!!
I also found out through a alternate service provider that the part for the unit was not available in the country at all!! So the real reason for the decline and the run around I got was that they did not want to replace the printer or it was too expensive to repair as parts would have to be flown in!!

I would watch out for Lexmark from this time forward and sales men at incredible connection who don't make their clients aware of these stupid little loop holes manufacturers hide behind! Totally unacceptable!

Bottom line stay away from Lexmark products!
