In December we took out a telkom contract with Marcus. It was a straight forward ADSL line. Besides numerous problems with the line itself there has been an issue with accounts. In January Telkom billed us double, we then approached Marcus as we signed the contract with him. He said he would take care of it. He even had the audacity to phone and to us that it has been sorted out. Now its February and lo and behold we are being charged double again. What is wrong with this person? Cant he sort out the problem instead of lying to his customers. I am actually sick and tired of this nonsense. I have spoken to several friends and they say that this falls under breach of contract and if we take it to court he will have to pay all the extra that he put on the system. All I want is for this to be sorted. Marcus is lying to the customers and cheating them out of their hard earned money by making you sign a contract and he thereafter add on the extras. Something should be done about this treachery. He even told us that if we had any problems we must call the telkom technician and now they even charging us call out fee.
