CASHIER HIDES GOODS

Today as I placed goods on the conveyer belt at the till I noticed that the packet of limes I wanted had not been weighed. I thought that the packer would then be sent to have them weighed. After I paid & was about to leave, I decided to check whether the limes were in my packet. They were not. The cashier had hidden them away under the till because she wanted to go on tea/lunch and was too lazy to have them weighed. When I questioned her and asked where my limes were she said that I did not place any on the conveyer belt. I carried on questioning her and she constantly denied that I had placed limes on the belt. I decided to leave but as I turned away I again looked at her & saw her get up & put something behind the till. I went back & of course it was my limes! The manager was uninterested in my complaint and Veronica the cashier found the entire incident very funny telling her friends in Zulu the story & they all commenced to have a big laugh! The calibre of staff employed at Amanzimtoti PnP is not up to standard and I find this kind of incident disgusting!!
