Pick n Pay woes yet again!

So I took the afternoon off today to upgrade my cell phone contract at Pick n Pay. It seemed they had a great deal which was advertised. Arrived just after 2pm to an unmanned cell counter. Queried & was told someone would assist shortly. 15mins later someone arrived but couldn't assist with an upgrade. A further 20mins later he called to find out where the right person was & was then only asked by Ntombi apparently the Electronics manager what did I want. He explained that I needed an upgrade & she told him to 'tell the customer that deal is for new contracts only'. I then said that nowhere on the ad is this stated & had I known this beforehand I would not have bothered to take half the day off or even come in for that matter. I was then told by Ntombi that 'Vodacom forgot to print it, it's not my fault'. I took a photo of the huge glossy A2 ad on the wall which states nothing about not being applicable to upgrades nor to new contracts only. I strongly feel that this is typical bait marketing to lure a customer in under false pretenses. Isn't this contravention of current CPA legislation? Why are loyal customers being ripped off like this?? I just want the advertised deal!
