On the 02 Dec 13, one of my friends at work applied for a cellphone upgrade which was the P5200 on a Straight up 50 for R289. She then received the fone on the 03 Dec 13 and the phone came with a DSTV drifta. I then called on the 04 Dec 13 to upgrade my contract coz it was a great deal. The consultant done the upgrade and when i asked her about the drifta she said that there is no drifta included and that was part of Nov 13 deals. My question is how can you offer one customer that deal and when i call two days later i do not get offered the same deal? This is not fair practice according to the CPA. When i called to query that no one knew what happened. I am utterly disappointed as i have been a loyal customer with cell c for years now and this is how i get treated. I have also always experienced issues when i upgrade my contracts and it seems like am experiencing the same again. What i want is the exact same fone and drifta that she got as i took the same deal that she took. I want this investigate or I will take the matter to the Consumer Protection Act and to the Consumer Watchdog.
