Last week I ordered 2 books on Kalahari's buy 1 get 1 free book promotion. When the order went through, the full amount for both books had been debited from my credit card. I made 4 calls to the call centre during that week - each time the person took my details, checked my order, confirmed I'd been overcharged, and said they would call me back later. Each was a 10 minute call as I kept being put on hold for ages while they checked to see if I was overcharged, again). Not one person called me back. I also emailed the support centre to see if someone would respond that way. A week later I got a mail saying the refund would take 3-7 working days, and 'according to their calculations it had not yet been 7 days' - implying I was being impatient. Not one of the 4 people I spoke to gave any indication that the refund was in progress and it would take a few days, they just took my number and said they'd call me back. I then received a mail saying my order would be late as they can't source the products... why place items on promotion if you don't know if you can source them???
