Bad Service & Forced Sale

I purchased two body Shapers and other items on the 20/07/2013. Following this, I was shopping at Waverley and went to return the items that did not fit. The consultant advised that they do not stock these items so can not accept the return. The nearest branch to my work is the East Rand Mall branch where I was advised that body shapers are considered as underwear and they will not return or exchange. I was surprised as they allow you to fit on shapers in their change rooms and if considered as underwear, this should not be allowed. I was not informed of this when I purchased them. I live in Benoni and decided to try and swop size and they advised the same.

On numerous occasions I called Truworths Eastgate on the number that is on their receipt 0116164057/8 and there was no answer so I sent a complain through their website days ago and no one responded. I looked up store details on their web page and called to speak to their manager Gareth for whom I left many messages and has not returned my call. Today I called their head office and was advised that Gareth was off today. I asked for their duty manager today and they kept me on hold for a very long time until I cut the call.
