I went today in my lunch time to buy T-shirts as a present on behalf of some1.I saw a special in store-if you buy 2 Stone Harbour golfers shirts, you pay R129.95each. I took 4, my total should be R 519.80.When the cashier scanned everything, the total was - R600.I told her that it is incorrect&that is not what is advertised, she said sorry but someone probably made a mistake&thats what the system gives&the specials is loaded on the system so I have to pay the total that the system shows. I as a consumer have the right to ask to pay the amount that is advertised, if the store made mistakes, it has nothing to do with me. I asked for the manager&she got me the Risk Controller.same story with the risk controller who said i have to speak to the manager, I told him that I originally asked for the manager, &once again asked to see the store manager. Eventually I got the store manager, named Jennifer. And, again, the same story. She's sorry but there is nothing that she can do about it now.she will log a call. She turned to the cashier&complained something about me not understanding, in her language.the result, I walk out empty handed, wasted my time, been out on lunch longer than allowed&no present!
