Ridiculous-Copy of ID required for Refund

I couldn't believe what I heard today. Cashier requesting I go out in the Phoenix shoppingcentre somewhere and make a copy of my ID Book before transaction of refund is done. I tried looking for a copy /internet shop, but gave it a miss as I felt this is ridiculous, I feel like a fool, belittled and decided to go back to Pep to view my concerns and disgust. Spoke to Manager Sharon Rangan 0315005775.She says its their policy that customer get their own copy as they do not have a copy machine. I request to see the stupid policy, but she said they don't have it at the branch. Thats so low and shameful of Pep to not have a simple thing as a copy machine, is business so bad at Pep!!!

I refused to make a copy and take my precious time running around for a copy shop! Due to being irritated the manager refunded R72 without making a copy thou.

PEP I know its tough in the economy, comeon don't make it so obvious!!!

What next, no cashier slips, pay for packets?
