No refund on cancelled orde

On 8 Dec I raised an order for some Christmas presents.
On 17 Dec I received a mail saying that the order will only be delivered 27 Dec. I immediately replied saying I would like the order cancelled, as Christmas presents delivered after Christmas are no good.
The next day (18 Dec) I got a mail saying that part of my order was being dispatched. I mailed again in response saying that the order was to be cancelled.
The day after that (19 Dec) I got another mail indicating a tracking number. Again, I sent a mail in the same vein as the previous ones.
After I got no response, I called the call centre and was told that they were not getting to their mails and that they will cancel the order and recall the goods at the courier.
After that did not happen and the couriers called me asking where they can deliver the package, I got a refund request notification on 30 Dec.
I have since then sent multiple mails, made calls to the call centre and even logged a complaint on Kalahari's facebook page in an attempt to get a refund, but nothing.
No one has once called me back or even apologised (until I got hold of the facebook page).
It has now been one month since I cancelled the order.
