We ordered dark grey couches from Mr Price Home in Newcastle on 29 November 2013, for which we also paid the deposit on the same day. I was told that the order will arrive after ten working days, on 20 December 2013. When I went to the store on 27 December, I was told the order is not available, because the factories are closed. When I phoned again at the beginning of January, it turned out that the couches was first wrongfully sent to Cape town, and from there, it apparently went to Durban, and then, when it arrived in Newcastle, it turned out to be red instead of grey. We insisted on the colour that we ordered, and were told that the order will have to be cancelled in the store, and that we should rather do the order online. I refused to do so, as we have already paid the deposit. After speaking to the people handling the online orders, they told us that it is the store's mistake, and that they should sort it out. After 13 phone calls and 5 visits to the store, we are still waiting for it to be delivered. I have left numerous messages for the manager, whom I have spoken to about the problem, but I am still waiting for someone to call back. This is completely unacceptable.
