Branch Manager equals Bad Attitude

The Saleslady at Green Cross, Greenacres, Port Elizabeth after inspecting the returned goods and confirming with her Branch Manager regarding an exchange, relayed that I can choose another shoe. Upon returning to the counter with the replacement shoes, I was informed that the saleslady was negligent as she did not inspect the shoes properly and that an exchange is now not possible. In other words the saleslady did not do a proper job and did not inspect the shoes properly, SO THEREFORE NO EXCHANGE. After 15 minutes of trying to find a replacement shoe after being assured by the saleslady who received confirmation by her branch manager to exchange, the attitude clearly displayed that I must HIT THE ROAD AND THAT NO EXCHANGE WILL BE MADE and this in full view of other customers who was listening. One customer even grinned at me and this was now putting the cherry on the cake. I have been a customer of GREEN CROSS shoes for years. Spent thousands there already both in Gauteng and in Port Elizabeth, only to be rewarded with this customer service. I have confirmed with the CPA.
