My son opened an account with Edgars in PMBurg a few weeks ago to take advantage of the vouchers that come with this. It took about an hour of his time to verify information before his account was opened and he qualified for the vouchers. He made it clear to the consultant that he was NOT interested in ANY of the other things. He was simply opening the account for the vouchers. The other day he received an sms about a Funeral Policy. As a Muslim he has absolutely NO need for a Funeral Policy. It appears that the consultants get a commission for signing on customers for policies and are doing this. I hold EDGARS responsible for this and they need to solve this issue IMMEDIATELY. I spoke to Vanessa at 8.20am on 13/01/2014 and she refused to give me her surname. I logged this complaint on my sons profile on Saturday and to date have not received a response from Edgars. Vanessa was going to call my son to resolve the matter and almost 3 hours later has still not called. I want EDGARS to CLOSE mys sons account as we do not deal with unethical people.
