WA PHAPHA!

I went to the Clicks in Quagga centre to purchase a bottle of water and gum. i made my payment via a gift card of which the machine most probably had an error as the transaction would not go through. the teller called her superior and several attempts of making the transaction. the superior impolitely said that the card had been declining due to insufficient funds. there was no error message on the machine that could have possibly given him that idea but still he would not assist through the correct measures. i kindly asked the gentleman to accompany to the shop where i work so that he could get the money as i had already opened the bottle of water so i could not just leave without paying and he made a rude remark implying that i was undermining his position as the supervisor, by asking him to accompany me.

i was then allocated to a different till and there the transaction went through successfully, so i asked the teller to tell the supervisor that the transaction had went through, his response was "WA PHAPHA O!!! " in English OFF" i found that appauling as i to am a manager and i know that you do NOT speak to customers like that.
