Rusting stainless steel lid

I bought a Stainless steel Irresistible Cookware 5piece set on the 30th November 2013 (less than 2months) and one of the lids is already rusting. It is stainless steel but it is rusting and from what I know stainless steel does not rust. This must be taken back to the supplier for re-checking because really this is not expected from @home as I buy there due to their standards and quality. This is unacceptable. I have bought a lot of product at your stores and this has never happened.
