Franke Wash Trough

I bought a Stainless Steel Franke wash trough for R513. 79 (Plus Vat) from Prinro at Vredenburg which was damaged. I travelled 300 kms (at own expenses) to change it. It was installed 3 months later. After a while I discovered that the trough was leaking in a closed cupboard. Damage to the cupboard was R800.00 .

I took the matter up with Prinro, who initially denied that it was a Franke wash trough bought from them. Meantime I use Silicone to try and use the trough. Eventually I proved to Prinro and Franke that it was indeed a Franke wash trough. The latter took three years to prove and now Franke refuse to change the trough because it is out of warranty.

To fit a new trough plus all my damages is going to cost me more than R2, 000.00 as a result of Franke's non existence of quality control and sub standard products been put on the market to steel money from customers. The latter is also the reason why Franke cannot afford R513.79c to change a faulty wash trough!

A stainless Steel wash trough either leaks or it does not!

Hopefully their their firm goes under very soon before more damage are done to other people.
