I purchased an item from the R100 100 day special and was charged individually for the item. While the teller was telling the items my husband advised him that the items were on specil and he said it would ring at the bottom of the till slip. After paying we noticed that the item was not tilled as on special. We request the teller to correct it and he called someone to go look at the price. We asked him to see the manager and his words were 'for what do you need to the manager' after waiting for what felt like forever, no one assisted. I asked the teller next door to call for assistance and no one arrived. I eventually went looking fpor a manager and found Yvette, the issue was eventually sorted, however we asked Yvette to speak to the branch manager and we were told that he is to busy to deal with clients and that we must phone him. The teller that assisted also that he spoke to a supervisor which was not true. So the feeling I get is that Makro management is to superior to assist clients with complaints and the tellers integrity is not worth much if he can lie. Clients are misslead to beleiving that items are one price and they get charged another.
