I am shocked by the deteriorating service standards from SA's "favourite online shop"! An order that was placed on 3 December with 1 24hour item (Gone) and another item to be dispatched within 7 working days (Private Down Under), now takes 3 weeks - expected delivery date being 24 December! I called them this morning, and... the consultant was so sweet... but had nothing worthwhile to say to explain this delay, except to blame it on the suppliers.

My other open order, 1000990434, now has an imported item which takes up to 13 working days, this despite an initial maximum delivery time of 7 working days. A search of the author's name shows that the (locally supplied) book now sells for R239.04.

The final straw is the unfriendly Android app. While checking if payment had been received (the parcel was on hold), I accidentally cancelled the order (my fault, I admit). I wish Kalahari would have a confirmation process for mistakes like these. The Facebook admin was very helpful, but I am still waiting for the order amount to show up on my profile before reordering.
