I am a good abiding client of Foschini who pays on time, and today I submitted via email proof of successful internet banking for 2 months which they cannot account for. All payments are regularly made on the 27th or by end of month. Just before I went on holiday I did an electronic payment of R1100 on 24/08 and on return I made a cash payment on 03/10 at Westgate Mall, Mitchells Plain. Then another electronic payment on 27/10 of R2000. I am now at risk of losing my credit facility because of this. I was told that it could take up to 3 days to sort out this mess as they must check with the bank where these amounts are "laying". I should not be in arrears at all and my credit allocation to purchase is R15300 - LAUGHABLE. When Foschini wants their money they hound you continuously; so why can't I get my account sorted out asap. I have being paying via internet for 2 years, so why is there suddenly a problem with "payments laying somewhere? " I phoned again this afternoon, but no senior person was available to talk to and I was told that someone will call me in the morning which I know will not happen. Someone has slipped up badly because computers don't make mistakes. Regards J
