I purchased a couch from the Mr Price Home in Tygervalley. Upon purchase we requested that we pick it up ourselves; however, we also asked if situations change would we still be able to get the couch delivered; we were assured that this wouldn't be a problem. Unfortunately I was unable to organize a bakkie to fetch the couch due to the depot being closed over the weekend, this was the first issue as we weren't informed of this, and seriously; why are they not open over the weekend when the vast majority of their customers have to work during the week!? So, we decided to get the couch delivered, but were told that we needed to come into the store to confirm everything (second issue: we live in Milnerton, so this required me taking time off work as apparently we couldn't do the transaction over EFT or cash on delivery. When I got into the store they said that they needed to refund me for the couch and redo the transaction with the delivery fee included, this sounded sketchy, but I obliged due to the assurance that this was the only way. Only once this was completed was I told that I now have to wait 2 days for the balance to clear and come back, 'sorry'. UNACCEPTABLE!!!
