As a supporter and regular customer, what a disappointment my last experience with Kalahari has been. I ordered a gift, intended for this weekend, nearly a week ago. I received emails stating that the expected date of delivery would be 27 November as they had stock and I am in Cape Town. It is now Monday 2 December and I have still not received the item. I have called no less than eight times - I have spoken to numerous operators: Nikki, Ricardo, Imaan to name a few. Each time being told that my parcel was in fact with Fastway couriers and had been "loaded for delivery." But also that they would follow up and call me back within the next hour. I have not received a single call or email from Kalahari regarding the matter. I understand they subcontract out to couriers, but it reflects terribly on the quality of Kalahari's service that they are able to choose such an unreliable company. I have also been unable to get hold of Fastway and trying to trace the parcel myself has been futile - I was given the incorrect tracking number by Kalahari's operators again and again! I am fed up.
