How is it possible to loose a gluten free meal?

Last night (28-11-2013), I attended the Chief of the SA Army Gala Evening. I was concerned that my allergies would not be catered for, when we sat down for dinner, a person came and found me and confirmed that I had been catered for. My starter arrived, cold and once every one and finished eating. I never received a sorbet course. My main course never arrived so my father-in-law had to complain before I was even remembered again, the excuse was that my food was served to other people and I was given a pathetic plate of half cooked vegetables. Again, my dessert arrived once everyone had finished eating and contained pineapple which causes severe reactions in people deathly allergic to citrus. I found the service to poor and substandard. It is embarrassing to say the least to sit at a table of people without a plate of food, it makes on look like an anorexic. I am truly, sorely disappointed to see that your service has not improved since my Matric dance held at Utopia Place in 2006.
