Cannot Pick up a FNB smart Device

Good day,
I want to express my frustration.
I ordered a FNB smart device on 11/11/2013. I got a sms yesterday stating the courier company will give me a call to make delivery arrangements. I got no call. I Phoned them this morning, and got the feedback I will receive my device in the next 3-5 days. When the deliver my device I need my ID document.
Why can I not go to DP myself, with my ID and Proof of residence to pick up my device.
If I only receive it on Wednesday, I would have been waiting 18 Working days in total.
