I purchased a mini I pad from Makro on Friday the 27th September the right bottom corner of the was damaged so I took it back the next morning, it was sent to be assessed by the supplier Core reference number 2171711. Firstly no one came back to me with a quote for repairs as they are supposed to, five weeks later when following up on the matter they could not find the product on the system, then the clerk tells me that the product was not received back in the same condition they sent it to the supplier and he would try to resolve the issue. On eventually logging a complaint on the website I got feed back from the manager just to say that according to the supplier this was normal, and I would have to pay for the damage or accept the further damaged product. On collection of the I pad I was horrified to see that the whole screen had crack's running across it, furthermore the clerk then requested me to sign a release stating I got the I pad back in the same condition I gave it to them. I have never been so ANGRY as that day. Typical of corporates to rather pass the buck and the consumer. I have never been so disappointed in after sales service as!!
