On the 9th of November 2013 my friend and I went to Edgars Waterfront to buy duvets, we took the same duvets who were placed under the 33% less sale sign and went to the cashiers to pay. My friend who is an Indian got her 33% discount without any hassle while me (African) on the other side the cashier called Sona Motolo supervisor who refused with great RUDENESS to give me a discount saying there is no special. When we showed her my friends slip and purchase she shouted at me said it is not her problem that the other supervisor gave my friend a discount. My friend was so embarrassed and could not believe that Africans are still treated like that.
I am an Edcon client who buys every month at Edgars and Boardmans for - R3000 a month in cash, I am now taking my business where it will be appreciated and where I will be treated with due respect, as I am going away I am taking my husband away with me who is also a Thank U card holder, your thank you points are not worth being treated with.
Just want Edcon group to teach their personnel to treat every customer the same it is 2013, in South Africa for crying out loud.
