Poor service, Poor Communications = LOST CUSTOMER

On the 25th October I took my DeLonghi "Magnifica" coffee machine to Hirsch's Centurion to have it serviced and a leak repaired. Jade Jones received the unit. (Doc.# 347516). A prepayment of R200.00 was paid in advance. Jade explained that it would take 5-8 days to service. After 5 days I phoned Jade for a progress report. Jade explained that she had only dispatched the unit on the 29/10/2013! Jade indicated that she would phone me with an update. This never happened. On the 7th November I phoned again and spoke to Malcolm. Malcolm informed me that the machine would be delivered on Friday 8/11/2013 and i could collect it on Sat 9/11/2013. I arrived at Hirsch's at midday (12h15). After enquiring at the repairs counter and later with some intervention from Jade Jones it transpired the machine was not at the store and had not been delivered. Jade then asked if I had paid? Yes I had paid R200.00. Jade indicated that an additional R672.00 must be paid but could not give details. No prior notice, no invoice, no machine, just pay. I paid but the abortive cost of travelling to Hirsch's from Midrand must be reimbursed to me. R200
I have spent R50 K at Hirsch's - Never again. Still no comms
