Poor quality product

I purchased a black pants from Jet in the beginning of October i wore it once and when i wanted to wear it today i saw the stitching had come loose. i found the tag but i could not find the receipt. i went into the store the manager Ethel told me she would look it up on my thank you card however she would not exchange as i have no slip. i waited and waited and she was busy with the cashier talk in a African language so i couldn't understand after 10 min i told her i couldn't wait anymore as i am working but i would lay a complaint she was quite happy about me laying a complaint giving me all her details. all i want is an exchange.
