Refund

On the 17th of January I bought a few things from Mr Price. Now I decide I want a refund on one of the items and the Carlton Centre branch informs me that the system will not allow them to make any cash refunds. I work in the middle of town and because of security reason don't walk around with my debit card. I am forced to either bring my card or take a voucher. Is it not my decision what I do with my money? Why is it not stated on the till slip or told to the customer that if you pay by Debit Card Mr Price will not be able to give you your money back??? This is not fair on me because the money has cleared in your account and I have the right to get it back. Why is the store making the system problem my fault?
