I contacted Foschini's Cusomer Services with a query on my account on 27.08.2013 together with a request that all club fees must be cancelled. This mail was ignored. I've sent 3 additional mails with absolutely no response from Foschini. I went to my nearest store which is Foschini Waterfall Mall, I closed my account and requested a letter to say that the account is closed. The branch refused to give me such a letter and stated that I need to contact the customer services. This was done on 15.09.2013. The end of September I received a letter to say that I still owe Foschinie R22.50. I ignored the letter. On 03.10.2013 I received a letter from Foschini to say that my account is now in arrears and I need to make a payment before any further purchases can be made or before further steps will be taken. I e-mailed the customer services again (due to lack of telephone services) with my proof of payment and requested them to acknowledge that the account was closed and no further monies were due to them by myself. Still absolutely no reponse!! Their arrogance is astounding. I've paid my account in full and requested it to be closed but still I receive letters of demand!! Unacceptable!!!
