INCORRECT CHARGES INSTEAD OF REFUND

I returned goods to be credited. It was a battle to try and get this sorted, as the clerk and the store manager could not do a normal reversal to refund the money. In the end, they charged the amount to my acc again attempted to "refund" the amount to my bank card, and cr my acc again. Despite the fact that I told them this is incorrect, they insisted that the correct amount would reflect on Monday 30 Sept, which of course did not. The next day the store manager called me to advise I need to come into the store to have the error corrected. Again the amount was charged to my Edgars acc, and I was then given cash for the amount. As you will realise, I have in fact then refunded myself, as I was charged once again for goods returned that I already paid for. Pule said he will speak to Head Office on Monday 7 Oct to get the amount fixed and let me know that everything is in order. It is now Wed 9 Oct and I have not rec any feedback. I find it unacceptable that Edgars has this much difficulty to sort out a simple refund. It is not acceptable that I'm sitting with a negative balance on my acc, reflecting badly on my cr score and profile, because this was messed up by managers of the store
