Refusal to refund monies

I had paid an amount via my debit card at Planet Fitness Centurion Gate at their speedpoint last week. Problems arose, the club offered to refund the amount to me. Planet fitness head office had instructed Nedbank to tell FNB not to let the pending amount leave my account. This was done and the money remained in my bank account.2days later, the amount was debited from my account and as of Monday the 27th of May is reflecting in Planet Fitness' account according to Nedbank, and Nedbank has confirmed that it had gone from my account. However this is apparrently not reflecting on Planet Fitness' side and as such head office says they can't refund. Centurion Gate has sent through my bank statements showing the deducted amount on the 24th of May, yet Head office can only find the stop order for the original reversal. I cannot understand that Nedbank can see the amount is in the account as of Monday, but Planet fitness head office cannot and as such cannot refund me. Why can they not just confirm with Nedbank that the amount is reflecting and refund me as as of Friday I have been sitting without prepaid electricity and have missed 2 exams worth R2000 each as a result of this!!!
