Promise to repair a defective sofa not kept

I bought new sofas and carpet from Morkels, Groblersdal branch in 2011. After delivery, I noticed that the carpet and one of the sofas were defective. I reported this to the store manager who then came to my house to see the defect and then promised that he will arrange that the sofa be repaired and carpet replaced. The sofa was badly repaired in 2012 and looked worse than before and carpet was never replaced.
