During payment at Eastgate, using staff account and Debit card, the lady at the till scanned in all the items, total cost R2231.79, made payment but a receipt does not print, she called for Ntokozo who said to please wait aside for a few minutes while she goes to check the credit department, on her return she says that the transaction did not go through and a reversal would transpire. So we had to rescan everything and then pay again. Before leaving I had asked what happens if the reversal of the first transaction does not happen? The response I received was it will happen as this is a daily issue at the store, so I said if I don't receive my refund I am not doing any running around to Edgars or the Bank, neither am I making any phone calls to get this sorted, Edgars needs to rectify as this is in my opinion, four days gone, still no reversal and no attempt to try and help.
