I made a purchase at Edgars Eastgate on Friday the 15th. At first the transaction was delayed due to the fact they had stock take the day before. The cashier twice tried to process my credit card payment but their system failed! Twice I got confirmation on my cell that my bank had processed the Edgars payment. I was then taken to customer services. I asked that the one be reversed immediately and was informed that they would not release the goods until it reflected as paid on their system!! Ridiculous!! So I paid cash and was promised that the credit card payment would be reversed. Up until yesterday no payment had reversed, I called Edgards customer services yesterday and was promised a resolution but until today nothing forthcoming and they still have my money!! I as the customer should have been placed first but instead all the staff at Edgards are making sure they dont loose money!!
